Scotland - Dunkeld to St Andrews

Here lies 'The Wolf of Badenoch'! He was born in 1343, son of King Robert 11, and became the King's Lieutenant and Earl of Buchan. Things went downhill from there. He left his wife, the Countess of Ross, had children with another, resulting in him being excommunicated. In revenge he burned down 2 towns and sacked Elgin Cathedral. Surprisingly his tomb and effigy reside in Dunkeld Cathedral! All must have been forgiven after he was made to pay for what he did and do public penance for his deeds in sackcloth and ashes at Blackfriars Monastery.
